Dr. Caldwell “discovered” Liz in the early 1980's when she was a Hygiene student at El Paso Community College—and what a “find” she was! She started working for Dr. Caldwell soon after her graduation from the Program in June, 1983.
Besides her role as a full-time hygienist at Caldwell & Dimmitt, she also makes a vital contribution to the practice as Coordinator for Dr. Caldwell's Del Norte Study Club for local dentists. Liz will also be the Coordinator for the upcoming Dental Hygiene Forum designed as an opportunity for local hygienists to socialize together while at the same time receiving Continuing Education credits.
Liz is a devoted daughter and her parents' caretaker. And it's no surprise to those of us who know and love her that her favorite aspect of being a hygienist is the opportunity to develop relationships with her patients. She is a native El Pasoan who enjoys reading and cooking—although we can't imagine where she finds the time!
Thank you, Liz, for your lifetime of service to family, patients, and co-workers alike!
Helen is one of our more cosmopolitan co-workers. Born in Santa Monica, California, she also has lived in Great Britain and what used to be called West Germany. She attended Idaho State University and graduated from the University of Utah. She later relocated to Texas and became a Hygienist via El Paso Community College in September of 1995, and started working for Dr. Caldwell that following December.
Helen says she aspires to be “among the best” in her profession—and we who know her believe she has attained that aspiration. She enjoys the variety of experiences that her work as a Hygienist affords her, as each day is different than the ones before it. She also enjoys reading, gardening, bike riding, and swimming.
Helen is married and has three adult children
Sandra became a Registered Dental Hygienist in May, 1998. As a native El Pasoan, she earned her degree from El Paso Community College, and started practicing Dental Hygiene in a general dentist's office. She then went on to employment as a Hygienist at a pediatric and general dentistry clinic. After brief employment in Dallas, she returned to El Paso, and gained employment with Dr. Caldwell as a substitute Hygienist in his office that same year. She signed on for full-time employment with him over seven years ago.
Sandra enjoys reading, dancing, camping, fishing, and participating in her son's extracurricular activities.
Sandra says her favorite aspect of her position with the Caldwell & Dimmitt practice is her “one-on-one contact with patients”. She takes obvious pride in her work, and is always meticulous and detail-oriented. We are most proud to have her as a key member of our Dental Hygiene Team.
