Appointment Policy (“No Shows” And “Running Late”)

Research has shown that routine periodontal care is the number one factor in the retention of teeth throughout one’s lifetime. Our Hygienists specialize in the care of periodontal and implant patients; and, as such, are in great demand. Because their available appointment time is limited, discretion must be used in how it is allocated. Always arrive a few minutes before your appointment is scheduled to begin; this will make your visit with us more enjoyable, and maximize the benefits you receive from your allotted time.

We have a 24-hour advance-notice cancellation policy. Without this notice, you will be charged the full fee for your reservation. “Late arrivals” are considered a cancellation without sufficient notice because lateness translates to insufficient time to perform the necessary treatment.

In the event of a true emergency, please inform us as soon as possible so we can make every effort to fill your reserved time with another patient, and relieve you of your financial obligation.

Our professional appointment schedule is dictated, in part, by the needs of our patients—a human factor outside of our control and sometimes difficult to accurately anticipate—and one that unfortunately causes us to occasionally run late for our next appointed patient. If another patient’s needs impinge on your reserved appointment time, we promise that you will receive the same dedicated and thorough care.
